Description

Oscar Reinhardt towers over those around him. At 6'7", the blonde giant is intimidating even before he speaks. His German accent and stern demeanor demand respect from those in his presence. He tends to dress in formal business attire, unless he is planning a recreational "jaunt" in his private estate, in which case he dresses in military fatigues. His smile is pleasant, though his eyes turn icy and hint at the cold ruthlessness that lurks beneath and has allowed him to wrest power from the Sabbat who formerly posessed the city.

Notes

  • Sire of Chester Winthrop III
  • Sire of Jennifer Phillips (he has almost totally forgotten her and he never learned her name)
  • Sire of David Phillips
  • Haven: Black Lobster Island, in his private estate
  • 3 pt Merit - Invisible Diablerie
  • 3 pt Flaw - Permanent Wound - the Embrace bite does not heal properly in the Reinhardt family line. The Prince's is located on his right wrist.
  • Sees Torrance as competition - How to remove him...?
  • Will kill any who discover his secret, if possible - possibly by hunting
  • Retainers 3 - city officials, police officers, definitely Blood Bound
  • Wants to destroy the Anarchs, especially Jennifer
  • Prey Restriction: Homosexual men... stems from the Prince's own former sexual preference

Oscar Reinhardt was the son of a police officer in Pre-WW2 Germany. He met his Sire at a very young age, and she expressed interest in him for his already strong mind and will. She watched him as he excelled at school and applied for college, even though he knew a depression was on its way by the portents in the economy and government. He was a very politically active student and when the Nazi party arose, he quickly joined and rose through the ranks, desiring a better society for his nation. However, things changed when he was nearly trampled to death by a police officer's horse at a riot. The Baroness L'Etoile's agent collected him and brought him to her residence in Berlin, where she secretly cared for him until he was well again. Then she allowed him to contact his allies and plan with them. Seeing how well he bounced back, she decided he was a good candidate for the Embrace.
The movement progressed and soon the Germans invaded Poland. Nazi atrocities began to come back and some were stories that chilled even the Baroness's cold blood. She requested that Oscar withdraw from the party. He agreed, though secretly he had other plans.
With the help of a pair of his Kindred allies, Oscar led the Baroness into a trap and diablerized her. To his Toreador ally's surprise, no black veins appeared in his aura. This pleased Oscar to no end, though it also puzzled him. Researching his sire's diaries, he learned that she had had the same strange abilities.
The war proceeded until the United States finally entered in 1945. Reinhardt realized the Nazi's powerbase was crumbling and went underground, eventually fleeing to the United States where his sire's records indicated she had a haven in a city called Milhaven. He kept a low profile during his time in Germany and is not a recognized war criminal.
Oscar moved into L'Etoile's estate on Black Lobster Island, to find the city overrun by a Sabbat pack called the Morning Star. Oscar was soon contacted by a covert Nosferatu presence that referred to itself as the Underlord. It made a deal with him to rid the city of the Morning Star. It provided the locations of their havens. With the help of ghouls, Reinhardt staked out the different places to learn the habits of his enemies. After a month, the Prince had the entire pack staked by a large group of ghouls and brought to his island, where a few of the more powerful ones still remain in his wine cellar.
Upon his victory, Reinhardt declared himself Prince and opened the city to the Camarilla. He is very strict when matters of breaking the Masquerade and will call a Blood Hunt if he percieves the slightest threat. He has also been known to personally involve himself in said Blood Hunts. He has declared his personal property (Black Lobster Island) off limits to anyone trespassing. In fact, several interlopers have vanished, never to be seen again. Some of these also occupy the Prince's wine cellar.
In the 1950's the Prince met an English gentleman, named Chester Winthrop III, whom he had planned to feed from. However after engaging the young man in conversation for an entire night, Reinhardt decided to Embrace him, knowing his ideas of fascism would be useful. The new Childe was allowed to drain a member of the Morning Star and to the Prince's great delight, the fledgling shared his immunity to the dark veins of the Diablerist. Since the pair have begun creating and hunting Caitiff on their private estate. The spontaneous developement of the Clan-less Disciplines only add to the thrill of the hunt. To this night, only one such quarry has ever escaped the island, though no one has ever spoken to them.
Recently the Anarchs have begun to rebel much more openly and effectively. Reinhardt lost several of his favorite vessels when a gay club was firebombed. While he would like to destroy them, he has been unable to as of yet and since has resorted to diplomacy, even Embracing the twin brother of the leader of the Anarchs. Meanwhile, he is also secretly sending missives to the Underlord, requesting assistance. These missives have to date been unresponded to.
