The first recorded Kindred in the Milhaven area can be found shortly after the first rebuilding of Fireston. Tales are told of a strange white furred beast that stole blood from the natives and lived among the French-Canadian traders. It is believed that this was a Gangrel and that it was the reason the town was burnt the second time. It is unknown whether the creature perished or escaped, but it wasn't seen again. After that, the towns were amazingly Kindred-free until a few years before the towns combined into Millstone. In recent months, the Kindred of Milhaven have been thrown into disorder, as rumours of all kinds began to become more and more commonplace. Then a few weeks ago, almost all of the Nosferatu of the city vanished one by one. At first, the disappearances were few and far between, but soon Cornelius, the Primogen of the Nosferatu vanished and rumours of a new faction ruling the sewers, rose from the depths. Several Elders have been sighted and Anarch activity has been on the rise. Some whisper that Gehenna is about to begin right here in the small city of Millhaven. Other rumours tell of a rumoured Sabbat invasion, the weakening of the Gauntlet, the conjunction of several mysterious artifacts in a dark ritual, and powerful infernalists who plan everyones destruction. Matters aren't helped by increased activity amongst the Lupines and the magi. Milhaven is no longer an easy place for Kindred to live, though most of the inhabitants are loathe to leave their home. |
