Name: Hadrian Michael Giovanni Born: 1804 A.D. Embraced:1820 A.D. Apparent Age: late teens Generation: 7 Sire: Vincent Lucretius Giovanni Clan: Giovanni Nationality:American |
As with many Giovanni, Hadrian was raised in an ancestral home in the late 18th century. His family was part of a pet project to establish new bases of operations for the Giovanni in the New World. Early on, his family learned of his predilection for ancient artifacts and objects of power when shortly after his thirteenth birthday, the family was sent as a ghouled envoy to the home of a Lasombra antitribu. When they left, it was discovered that Hadrian had managed to sneak out a couple copies of rare occult tomes, undetected. He was ghouled at 16 and enjoyed the life of the ghoul, travelling and learning about the ancient world and the occult from his distant relatives. Upon discovering what appeared to be an older copy of the Rosetta Stone written in Enochian, Greek and Egyptian in a Settite tomb his domitor had believed barren, Hadrian was Embraced into Clan Giovanni. Hadrian began a rise through the ranks of his ancestral home. He was recognized as a prodigy and by 1900, he was in charge of his ancestral home in the northern Appalatian Mountains. However his temper grew darker and darker and after a decade, he realized that such temporal power was not what he needed or truly desired. He placed someone in charge as he left for Greece. Returning home with several new artifacts and a new outlook on life in 1925, Hadrian knew what he had to do. Officially, Hadrian is still in charge of the Appalatian home, but in truth his nephew, Richard Talbot actually runs it. Hadrian is too busy obtaining artifacts for the Giovanni’s collection, despite assassination attempts from all sides. Recently he single-handedly outsmarted an attack directed by the Lasombra from whom he stole when his family was acting as envoys. Following up on rumors of the components of an ancient ritual, Hadrian was led to Milhaven, where he was amazed to discover Necromancy had not become more difficult. Hadrian has sent word of this to the Clan’s main ancestral home in Italy and hopes to be allowed to establish a new ancestral home in Milhaven.
